Vacuum Filter Bags for Coin Vacuums

The number of bags in your coin vac will generally range be 2, 3, or 4. Regardless of which model vacuum you have, or even how often it gets used, bags should be regularly cleaned and replaced at least once a year to get the best performance from your vac.

The bag cleaning or replacement process for most units is pretty simple. First, open the access doors on the side of the vac, then reach inside and release the spring-loaded clips. Next, reach to the top of the unit, unhook the bag, and pull it out of the vac body. Thoroughly look over the bag, inspecting for rips, tears, and general wear. If you don’t see any issues, hand wash the bag or put it in a washing machine (machine cleaning may cause damage – make sure you test this or have a spare on hand in case things go awry). If you see any damage or wear, it’s time to pick up some replacement bags.
