CryptoTap Plus readers are standalone units that accept various tap to pay methods like credit cards, debits cards, and mobile payment. Unlike regular CryptoTap units, CryptoTap Plus devices do NOT require a CryptoPay swiper for operation. That means less equipment to install and monitor, and the unit itself has a smaller footprint than the regular version. The CryptoTap Plus design is simple and clean but effective, with a tap and pay symbol front and center so customers know the unit is for cashless payment. It boasts an attractive LED display with high-resolution colors on the edges. It's a full EMV reader and also includes a QR code and barcode scanner. Since this version of the CryptoTap Plus is designed for meter boxes in bays and on vacuums, it comes with an external button that flashes either red when it's in count up mode, or green when it's in count down mode.
